Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering

Students seeking a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering must complete a minimum of 120 credit hours including core courses in Electrical Engineering, Computer Programming, Mathematics, Science and Liberal Arts. Elective courses from Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Sciences, Humanities/Social Sciences, and African-American Studies are also required. This program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, http://www.abet.org.

Professor Charles Kim Receives 2019 VIP Consortium Award

Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Professor Charles Kim received the 2019 VIP Consortium Outstanding Research and Dissemination Award for the Vertically Integrated Project (VIP) program at Howard University (VIP@Howard) for his “creation and leadership of the VIP site at Howard University, his introduction of VIP members of a consortium of HBCUs, and for very thought-provoking papers on VIP”.
